1st November All Saints Day Isaiah 25:6-9 Revelation 21:1-6a John 11:32-44 Great is the rejoicing in heaven among the saints of God as they worship their Lord in glory.
8th November 3rd Sunday before Advent/ Remembrance Sunday Jonah 3:1-5 Hebrews 9:24-28 Mark 1:14-20 When we are called we need to respond with obedience so that many may be brought to repentance.
15th November 2nd Sunday before Advent Daniel 12:1-3 Hebrews 10:11-14(15-18) 19-25 Mark 13:1-8 We are to be on our guard; great anguish will accompany the last days, but all that is good and loving, wise and true will be saved and celebrated for ever.
22nd November Sunday before Advent/Christ the King Daniel 7:9-10 Revelation 1:4b-8 John 18:33-37 Jesus Christ is the everlasting King whose kingdom is not of this world. but grows in the hearts of his people and lasts for ever.
29th November Advent Sunday Jeremiah 33:14-16 1 Thessalonians 3:9-13 Luke 21:25-36 The gathered hopes of generations remind us to get ourselves ready, so that Christ's return will be a day of excitement and great joy.

Knowlewood Knap: Holy Communion 3rd November at 10.00am in the Day Room.
Hyde Place: Holy Communion 12th November at 10.00am in the Day Room.
Anyone may go along to these services especially if you feel that you are unable to access Holy Rood Church for the services there.
Prayer for the Parish An informal time of prayer for the church and parish held in Holy Rood Church on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays of the month, 7.00-7.30pm.
