Chaldon Herring trailer rides from the Village Green.

A great afternoon out for all the family. Specially equipped trailers, suitable for all ages, head out over farmland to the cliffs and give breathtaking views of the Jurassic Coast, Durdle Door and Portland.

Trailer rides start at 2pm from East Chaldon Village Green. Last ride 4.30pm.

£6 for adults, £4 for U18s and £2 for U8s.  Cream teas from £4.50

Face painting for the children & book and plant stalls for the adults.

Last day to ride the Purbeck Breezer 30 summer bus service. After today, the only bus services through Wool are the X54 and school buses.

Chaldon Herring Village Hall will host an Arts and Crafts Show, featuring the work of local artists, print-makers, wood-turners, wool knitters and others.

11 am to 5pm.  Refreshments available.

With summer approaching, many of our driving volunteers are away. PLEASE try and give at least 3 DAYS NOTICE of any requests for transport, especially to Dorchester Hospital.

The Durberville Dash 10K - July 23 2017 Start 11.00 - Volunteer help needed please......
Human Energy runners appeal for help on the day at the D'Urberville 10K race.  Our helpers increase each year but the growth and popularity of this event means we are pressed even more, we expect close to 400 entries this year. There are tasks at HQ in the D'Urberville Hall and as Marshals on the course.  It can be just  1 hour or 2 hours and you are awarded the event T shirt and free refreshments are provided.
