Our Parish Magazine

We have a monthly Parish Magazine, "The Parish News" that really is well worth reading.

Not only does it contain helpful Church information, but also information from other churches in Wool, as well as useful advertising by local shops, trades, and services.

It additionally has lots of items of news — the kind that would not always find its way into an ordinary local paper serving a much wider area. These items of course are often very local indeed (which is what makes them of such great interest if you live here or even if you used to!). Indeed, Holy Rood Parish News acts as our village journal. If you need to know what's happening in Wool and round about, at only 60p a copy it is hard to find a better bargain.

The Editor from 1st December 2008 is Andrew Wilson and he would be glad to have any requests for items or events to be published. He can also arrange for your copy to be delivered if you live locally.
We will post copies out to anyone who asks, on annual subscription.

The counter price of the Parish News is 60p per month or £7 per year (Jan - Dec) - postage would be extra, of course.
