CHURCH FETE - THANK YOU

You helped us to raise £1,940 on Saturday July 9th

Very many thanks to all those who gave, ran stalls, made cakes and craft items came along and bought, played games and enjoyed cream teas to make the church fete successful.

Also many thanks to all of those who planned and organised the fete, those who moved tables, and helped prepare on the day.

It was a very successful event and as well as raising money for the porch gates, people came and enjoyed themselves.

And my very special thanks to my neighbours in High Street Close, for all their hard work, and for their encouragement and support.

Parish Visiting

As part of our work we pray regularly for the people of this parish.

Each week we will visit one of the streets that we are praying for during that week.

A small group of us are hoping to start visiting every household in every street in the Parish commencing in August. This will take a considerable amount of time, probably several years.

When we visit you, or at any time, if there are any people or situations you would like us to hold in our prayers please let us know.

Church maintenance

There are many small ongoing jobs in the church and the churchyard that need to be done on a regular basis. We are hoping to get a small group of volunteers who will meet regularly to carry out these tasks. We will meet the first Saturday of each month, (Saturday August 6^th), at the church at 10.00am. If you feel you could help in any way or you would like to know more details please contact myself or one of the Churchwardens.
